Physical Therapist (Part-Time)

Location: Outpatient Clinic near Springfield, WV

Schedule: 1 day per week (flexible day)

Compensation: $48-$52/Hour (DOE)

Sign-on bonus of $5,000

Average Patient Load: Approximately 12 patients per day

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Physical Therapist at our clinic, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their mobility, alleviate pain, and improve their overall quality of life. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patients' needs, creating personalized treatment plans, and guiding them through their rehabilitation journey.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients' physical conditions and medical histories to determine treatment goals and plans.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that include therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, modalities, and other interventions to address patients' specific needs.
• Regularly evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on patients' progress and responses to therapy.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for maintaining progress.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes, assessments, and treatment plans, in compliance with clinic protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in physical therapy techniques and apply evidence-based practices in your treatments.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the clinic.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active license as a Physical Therapist in the state of West Virginia.
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Strong clinical skills and a solid understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and human movement.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans independently.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care, with a dedication to helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic or similar setting is preferred but not required.
