Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Sycamore, IL

We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our practice full time in Sycamore, IL. If you like rapid growth and working with enthusiastic health professionals who are passionate about improving the patient’s quality of life, you’ll enjoy a career with us!

As the Physical Therapy Assistant, you will help assist in the retention of long-term quality patients for the clinic through exceeding our patients needs and expectations. You will be responsible for assisting the PT’s in facilitating treatment plans for our patients to receive the most comprehensive care. You will be an essential piece of our integrated clinic and will work in tandem with the PTs, in addition to the entire medical team, to ensure treatment plans are effective to offer the best clinical outcomes.

Duties:

  • Attend all clinic meetings
  • Perform physical therapy examinations
  • Take direction/training from Physical Therapist
  • Distribute orthopedic bracing
  • Monitor and initiate hands on ordered exercise programs based on written order
  • Educate the patient on the services provided in the clinic
  • Consistently offer the highest level of personalized customer service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude
  • Recognize and acknowledge when patients improve and reach goals
  • Assist in the recruitment of new patients through internal and external lead generating activities
  • Engage in effective communication with clinical/administrative staff to ensure seamless flow of production to allow for increased growth of company’s services delivered to meet the strategic objective of the company
  • Ensure all patient care is focused on an upstream medical philosophy, (prevention and function based) instead of downstream one, (symptom based)

Requirements:

  • PTA licensed in IL

Schedule:

  • Full time
  • Monday- Friday with office hours ending at 11:30 on Fridays
  • 1/2 day on Tues/Thurs

Salary (range):

  • $45,000 - $55,000
