Job Description
A leading home health organization in Salem, Oregon is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join its growing rehabilitation team!
Pay: $38.00 - $44.00/hour
Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity:
- Full-time, permanent, direct-hire position
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule
- Guaranteed weekly pay
- $5,000 sign-on bonus available
- Mileage reimbursement provided
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement benefits, and paid time off
- Provide direct physical therapy according to the direction of the Physical Therapist and physician's plan of care
- Treat patients to relieve pain, restore function, and maintain maximum performance
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, muscle re-education, and prosthetic training
- Utilize therapeutic modalities including heat, cold, water, electricity, ultrasound, and massage
- Observe and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients on the proper use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and orthotic or prosthetic devices
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associate's Degree required
- Current Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle required
- Serves patients throughout Salem and surrounding communities
- Located in the scenic Willamette Valley with easy access to wineries, parks, and outdoor recreation
- Conveniently situated between Portland, Eugene, and the Oregon Coast
