Position Summary:
As a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to carry out treatment plans, support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, and help promote strength, mobility, and independence. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.

Provide hands-on patient care, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and functional training.

Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates or changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.

Educate patients and their families on treatment techniques, exercises, and recovery strategies.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.

Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Current or eligible Alabama state licensure as a PTA.

Previous clinical experience preferred (new graduates welcome to apply).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with basic computer applications for documentation.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Schedule & Compensation:

Status: Full-Time (typically 40 hours per week)
