Overview

Columbus Springs offers two 72-bed behavioral hospitals and three outpatient centers in Central Ohio. Columbus Springs offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents and their families. At Columbus Springs we are dedicated to Changing People’s Lives

As a member of the Business Development team, you will play an important role in helping fulfill our mission of “Changing People’s Lives®”. Business Development Representatives serve as a liaison between our hospital and referral sources from the community. Our team is also responsible for increasing community awareness of the services of our hospital. We maintain a high level of customer service, by ensuring all admissions are well coordinated with the hospital intake and referral office.

Position Details

  • Responsible, in conjunction with the BD Director, for implementing the hospital’s business development plan/strategy.
  • This role is split between the field and operation management with no direct reports.
  • Identifies, establishes and maintains relationships with hospital referral sources.
  • Plans and/or attends community events to increase community awareness and to present a positive for the hospital.
  • Serves as a liaison between the hospital, referral sources and the community, consistently providing a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Combination of education and professional experience may be acceptable.
  • Valid driver’s license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using own auto.

Experience:

Previous sales or business development role in healthcare preferred. Extensive outside sales background may be acceptable.
