Job Description

NEW Pathologist Assistant position at a Joint Commission accredited hospital located in North Dakota! This hospital has a full range of services including (but not limited to) cardiac, neuro, ortho, and other specialty and surgical services. This well-established hospital prides itself on bringing the most up to date services and medical care to the area.

This hospital is looking to add a permanent and full time Pathologist Assistant to their team! This hospital is known to have a great laboratory work environment with excellent staff of technologists, technicians, pathologists, phlebotomists, and clerical personnel. In addition, they reinvest annually in the latest technology and have a completely up to date lab. The Pathologist Assistant is responsible for performing accessioning, dictating, and dissecting surgical specimens. This is a DAY shift position. For consideration, applicants must have at least a BS degree - Master's Degree preferred. Pathologist Assistant or PA ASCP certification is strongly preferred. Previous experience in a hospital or a high volume laboratory setting is also strongly preferred.
