This laboratory is looking to add a permanent and full time Pathologist Assistant. The Pathologist Assistant prepares specimens by applying appropriate gross examination so that the samples are ready for processing. Also, the PA will be responsible for training and supervising grossing technicians/trainees, document their training and provide some oversight over the department. For consideration, applicants must have his or her Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field and also should have a Pathologist Assistant (PA) ASCP degree. Applicants must be NYS Licensed or Eligible.
