What they’re looking for:
• Successful completion of an accredited paramedic program and State of Ohio certification.
• Maintains CME responsibilities per State Guidelines for certification to include ACLS, PALS, ASLS, CPR, ITLS or PHTLS certifications.
Hours and compensation potential:
• The positions 7am-7am and considered full time.
• The range is between for $19.90hr - $27.25hr depending on experience.
• The facility offers a full benefit package.
What you’ll be doing:
• Direct subordinates, including first responders, EMT’ and advanced EMT technicians in the provision of medical care; work seamlessly with both career and volunteer personnel; and exercise leadership and motivate subordinates to provide quality service.
• Administer basic and advanced life support to patients at the scene, in-route to the hospital and in the pre-hospital environment in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, protocols, regulations, and standards.
Additional info:
• The purpose of this position is to respond to emergency situations and provide skilled emergency and non-emergency services in a variety of areas including emergency medical and rescue operations, advanced medical assistance,
directing ambulance and first responders in patient care services, mentoring, training, quality improvement, public education, and recruitment.
• The incumbent would provide supervision and care of patients in the pre-hospital environment including the utilization of monitor/defibrillators, numerous medications, endotracheal intubation, IV therapy, and other associated tasks;
perform critical basic and advanced life support procedures according to medical protocol; and perform independently in situations involving both basic and advanced life support activities.
