Job Description
We are hiring for an excellent Optometrist locum opportunity based in Fresno, California, with a leading healthcare organization. Incumbents will provide comprehensive eye care, including routine exams, contact lens fittings, and medical optometry services. Located in the heart of Californias Central Valley, Fresno offers easy access to stunning national parks, vibrant local culture, and year-round sunshine!
Position Highlights:
- Location: Fresno, CA
- Assignment Length: 3 months to start (with potential to extend)
- Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM (40 hours per week)
- Call: No call
- Scope: Routine Eye Exams, Contact Lens Fittings, Eye Urgencies and Emergencies, Medical Optometry, Ages 4 and up. Frequent dilation of patients. No Surgeries
- Volume: Estimated 19 Patients per day
- Team: Full Support staff to Optometrist including administration
- Start: Upon credentialing
Requirements:
- Active California license
- Active Board certification
- Active DEA
- Active CPR Card
- Full time availability is ideal, will consider part time for 3 days a week
