Job Description
Aya locums is seeking an optometrist to assist with locum coverage in Montana beginning in July and ongoing.
Details:
• Setting: Outpatient Optometry Clinic
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p (open to flexible rotations – 2 weeks on/off, month on/off, etc.)
• Contract Length: Ongoing (6+ months)
• Patient Volume: 12–14 patients per day
• Practice Type: Bread-and-butter optometry
• Services: Routine eye exams, acute eye evaluations (irritation/foreign body), glaucoma screening/management, diabetic retinopathy screening (JVN imaging), ophthalmology referrals
Requirements:
• Active Optometrist license (any state accepted)
• Experience in rural or Native health settings preferred
• Comfortable working independently
