NiteLines USA Inc is currently seeking Optician candidates in Baltimore, MD.

Pay: $40 per hour.

Place of performance: 10 N Greene St, Baltimore, MD 21201
Hours: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, excluding Federal Holidays. Work hours will normally be between 8:00am-4:30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. T8The employee shall not exceed 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• ABO Certification.
• Shall have experience as an Optician.

Duties:

• Shall fill the medically necessary eyeglass prescription as written by the privileged VA eye care provider.
• Shall ensure medical justification is within the prescription for any add-ons or shall communicate with the provider for updates.
• Shall be responsible for helping Veteran beneficiaries by greeting them, determining lifestyle needs for prescription eyewear, assisting with frame selection and making recommendations. The contractor shall perform measurements for pupillary distances, segment heights, base curves and review final frame selection choice with Veteran beneficiary.
