Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans, assist patients with therapeutic exercises, and provide consistent support throughout their rehabilitation journey. Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Physical Therapists to develop and carry out customized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs and goals.

Assist patients with prescribed therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and modalities.

Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions and document changes in mobility, strength, and function.

Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and home exercise programs to promote recovery and prevent injury.

Provide timely feedback to the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient progress, challenges, or concerns.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of all treatment activities, progress notes, and billing information.

Adhere to all applicable healthcare regulations, company policies, and documentation standards.

Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team—including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists—to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:

Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Current and valid Alabama Physical Therapist Assistant license.

Current CPR certification.

Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate documentation and follow-through.
