Job Summary:

The United States Air Force is seeking highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapists to join our esteemed healthcare team. Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to active-duty military members and their families.
  • Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to enhance the physical and mental well-being of patients.

  • Contribute to the overall readiness and resilience of our nation's defenders.
  • Eligibility Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an Accreditation Council on Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) - accredited program in occupational therapy
  • Minimum educational requirement is entry-level masters (or post-professional master’s degree) in occupational therapy.
  • Must possess national board certification in occupational therapy through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) as an Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR®) and possess a current unrestricted state license.
  • S citizen citizenship is required.

Two years of work experience is preferred; particularly in the areas of out-patient orthopedics/hand therapy and/or acute care.

Certification by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC) as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT®) is highly desired, though candidates with experience and a strong interest in hand therapy are encouraged to apply.
