Job Description

Position: Physician Assistant

Shift: M-F 8-5pm

Type: Full-Time (Perm)

Location: Greater Los Angeles Area, CA

Salary: $120K-$150K

Must Have:

  • At least one year of experience as a Physician Assistant
  • Possession of a valid license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program or equivalent.

Description & Duties:

  • We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) who specializes in the field of spine care or a willingness to learn a new specialty, to join our healthcare team. As a Spine Specialist Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our orthopedic and neurosurgical teams to provide comprehensive care to patients with spine-related conditions. Your expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing spine-related ailments will contribute to improving the overall quality of patient care in our organization.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients with spine conditions, including detailed medical history reviews, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
  • Diagnosis and Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the supervising physician to diagnose spine-related conditions and develop personalized treatment plans. This may involve recommending non-surgical interventions, prescribing medication, or referring patients for surgical intervention when necessary.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their specific spine conditions, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions. Address any questions or concerns they may have, ensuring they are well-informed and empowered to make informed decisions about their healthcare.
