(Archived) Occupational Therapist - Medford, WI

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist at Aspirus At Home in Medford, WI to provide occupational therapy to neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Evaluate, treat and plan patient care in accordance with Occupational Therapy standards, taking into account the needs of the patient as it pertains to the age and diagnosis of the patient.

Responsibilities will include:
- Provides evaluation utilizing tests/measures to arrive at clinical assessment of patients condition.
- Processes information gathered during evaluation to establish an appropriate treatment plan.
- Establishes the treatment plan in accordance with the needs of specific age groups in terms of their physical and motor development, psychosocial development and intellectual/language development.
- Performs ongoing re-evaluation of patients response to treatment, determining appropriate.
- Clinically supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) in carrying out treatment plan.
- Provides adequate documentation for purposes of justifying reimbursement to third party payers, establishing baseline data and subsequent progress, and recording of treatment.
- Communicates to other therapists and health professionals regarding patient status and progress.

Qualifications:
- Current Wisconsin licensure to practice Occupational Therapy required.
- Current CPR certification or obtained with 90 days of hire.
- Knowledge of occupational therapy standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist beneficial but not required.
- Posses and maintains a valid Wisconsin Drivers license with automobile liability insurance of $100,000/$300,000 coverage required.
