Job Description

Continuum Medical Staffing is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist traveler for 13-week assignment in beautiful Libby, MT! Candidate must have at least one (1) year of OT experience working in a skilled nursing facility, inpatient, and outpatient (with PEDS) experience. Responsible for providing occupational therapy services to skilled nursing facility (long-term care), with ability to float to inpatient and outpatient services. Must have or obtain a MT OT license. Responsible for evaluating, planning, directing, administering, and documenting occupational therapy services to patients 0-100+ years of age. Administers treatments per established plan of care in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Assists patients to obtain maximum performance and function in society while learning to live a routine “normal” life within the constraints of their disability. The staff therapist coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (COTA, aide, etc.). The staff therapist participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in continuous quality improvement activities. Provides input in formulating budget, assists in evaluating department performance versus budget controls and takes appropriate action to remain in budget guidelines. Ensures that patient charges are accurate and entered on a timely basis. Participates in all departmental training and safety programs as required. Current state occupational therapy licensure. Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program Current CPR certification .
Malpractice, lodging and travel provided. Providers are paid every Friday.
Clean OR license. 1 year or more experience
