ACUTE CARE/REHAB hospital is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Physical Therapist to join the team in their INPATIENT REHAB UNIT. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.

An occupational therapist (OT) is responsible for providing assistance to patients who need help performing a wide variety of activities, especially daily needs (e.g., dressing, cooking, eating, driving, etc.) and motor skills. In addition, occupational therapy requires an OT to perform comprehensive at-home and job-site evaluations, and maintain an open line of communication with patients’ family members and caregivers. They may have a number of specialties, including:

• Acute
• Hand
• Home health
• Long-term care
• Outpatient
• Pediatric
• Psychiatric
• Rehabilitation
• School

Required Qualifications
General job duties and types of procedures required:
Patient Care

Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.:
Cerner Charting System

Required skills and minimum years of experience:
Requires 2 years of core staff experience in an acute care/ICU setting. 6 months of travel in same. Some neuro experience required.

Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required:
Az License and BLS required

Shift or schedule requirements:
8 hour day shift (0730-1600), Some weekends required, call possible.

Dress Code:
Business Casual or Scrubs. Clothing must be in good condition, scrubs no color or pattern restrictions.
