(Archived) Occupational Therapist
Job Description
The Role and the qualities we are looking for:
The Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive diagnostic services to patients referred for a possible dysfunction in the areas of fine motor development, orthopedic conditions, or neurological deficits. With physician referral and prescription, treatment plans are implemented to address deficits identified in any, or all of these areas in the facility or approved home care setting. Goals are set to move the individual toward his or her maximum level of independence and/or function.
Qualifications:
· Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
· Texas license to practice Occupational Therapy
· Competent to treat pediatrics and adolescents
· CPR certification for all age groups
· Computer skills – Microsoft Word preferred
