Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis in Venice, FL. In this role, you will provide essential therapy services to a diverse patient population—supporting individuals recovering from injury, managing chronic conditions, and improving daily living skills and independence.
Key Responsibilities
Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional needs.
Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with achievable, meaningful goals.
Intervention: Provide therapeutic interventions to support independence in activities of daily living (ADLs).
Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, adaptive strategies, and assistive devices.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Consistency of Care: Provide ongoing, consistent therapy services as part of a full-time care team to support patient progress and outcomes.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
Licensure: Active Florida OT license.
Experience: Prior clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation abilities.
