Job Description
Ideal OT would be responsible for providing evaluation and treatment upon physician referral to a patient population consisting of varying diagnosis. Assess, identify and treat all areas of deficits impacting self care, functional mobility, upper extremity function, behavior, cognition and perception and the ability to function in their life's role. The Occupational Therapist provides instruction and education to the patient/caregiver to promote the safe execution of the faciliatory techniques taught.
Must have :
- One year experience in acute care, extended care, rehabilitation, mental health or out patient setting
- Current Occupational Therapy license from the State of California or has been granted a limited permit from the State of California
- Current CPR recognition
- Ability to provide treatment to address the practical and realistic needs and goals of the patient.
