Job Description

Currently looking for Occupational Therapist to fill an opening with an Home Health setting located around the Nassau, NY area. Interested candidates should have OT experience, and at least, a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, with a passion to treating adult patients. Interested candidate should also have a valid MA OT license, or already have started the process of obtaining it. Very competitive compensation package with a $5K sign-on bonus!

Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist

  • The Occupational Therapist facilitates development and rehabilitation of patients with mental, emotional, and physical disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy.
  • Evaluates results of occupational therapy by observing, noting, and evaluating patient's progress; recommending and implementing adjustments and modifications.
  • Mobility to work in a typical clinical environment, stamina to remain standing or sitting for extended periods of time.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist

  • The OP setting is open to New graduates from an accredited Physical Therapy programs
  • Active, or eligible to obtain, MA Occupational license
  • Full-time, Direct-hire Opportunity
  • Open to New Grads
  • Passionate about patient care within an OP setting
  • Day shifts; Monday – Friday
