Nuclear Medicine Technologist - (Nuclear Med Tech)
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $1800.00 - 2050.00

Job Duties and responsibilities a. Assessing patient status and identifying patient care requirements relative to the patient’s age-specific needs and then providing the care needed. b. Performing all nuclear medicine procedures within established procedures and protocols, and with a demonstrated high level of technical expertisec. Resolving equipment, supply and patient relations’ problems to ensure clinically sound treatment and patient satisfactiond. Documenting all diagnostic studies or other patient procedures and other relevant information per department and hospital policy/procedure and professionally established protocolse. Maintaining required patient records, reports, statistics, files and documents required for effective operationf. Performing all nuclear medicine procedures according to hospital policy, procedures and established protocol with a consistently high level of technical expertiseg. Preparing and administering radioisotope doses according to hospital policies, procedures and generally accepted protocolsh. Operating all nuclear medicine equipment according to established proceduresi. Separating isotopes for decay prior to disposalj. Drawing blood samples as orderedk. Preparing and labeling images for diagnostic interpretationl. Maintaining requests for radiopharmaceutical formulationsm. Maintaining knowledge of new and emerging nuclear medicine methodologies and applying them appropriatelyn. Calibrating equipment, preparing, measuring and administering radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a physiciano. Performing physician requested diagnostic studies using the scintillation camera to produce images of organ on photographic film/digital file per hospital procedures and protocol

Required Qualifications
**Must have current CNMT and BLS certificate**
