Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as Nuclear Medicine Technologist. You will prepare radioactive drugs and administer them to patients for imaging or treatment. Provide technical support to physicians or others who diagnose, care for, and treat patients and to researchers who investigate uses of radioactive drugs.


Job Description

  • Performs daily a variety of complex nuclear medicine procedures with a minimum accuracy rate of 99%, in compliance with standard procedures.
  • Regularly updates knowledge of techniques and regulations appropriate to the ages of patients served.
  • Orders necessary radio-isotope materials with a 100% accuracy rate
  • Observes all government regulations regarding the safe utilization, storage and disposal of radioisotopes with 100% accuracy.
  • Identifies equipment malfunctions and makes simple adjustments, troubleshoots and/or calls for repair and notifies supervisor.
  • Communicates clearly and tactfully with patients.


Skills Required

  • 1-year Nuclear Medicine Technology experience, Relevant Equipment.
  • Standards, network connections and nationwide exchange to continually advance the liberation of healthcare data.
  • BLS preferred.


Education/Training/Certifications

  • Completed High School (Diploma or GED)
  • A valid license as a nuclear medicine technologist issued by the NYSDOH required.
  • BLS preferred.


Additional Requirements

  • Adhere to company guidelines regarding COVID compliance
  • Malpractice Insurance - All clinical workers are required to have active individual Medical Malpractice. A copy must be provided prior to start of assignment. All clinical workers licensed by the state of NY are required to provide.
  • Shift Time: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
