NEW Nuclear Medicine Technologist Opportunity – Full Time (Days)
Overview:
Looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a collaborative radiology team. This role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring quality imaging, and maintaining strict radiation safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging and procedures
- Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals
- Conduct quality control and calibration on imaging equipment
- Follow all radiation safety protocols for handling and disposal
- Monitor patients and assist with IV starts as needed
- Ensure accurate documentation and charging of procedures
- Maintain workflow to support timely and efficient exams
Requirements:
- ARRT or NMTCB registered (or registry eligible)
- Eligible for North Dakota state licensure
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
- Working knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures
- Ability to start IVs and monitor patients
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
