Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Full Time

Location: Central California (near Los Angeles and the Central Coast)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Placement
Salary: $57.00 – $75.00 per hour, depending on experience

A leading, privately owned cancer treatment center in Central California is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join its patient-centered imaging team. Position Summary:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you'll play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care. You'll work with state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative clinical team to ensure each patient receives safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals (oral, IV, or injection)

• Operate imaging equipment and deliver high-quality diagnostic images

• Maintain accurate records of radionuclide usage and patient data

• Start IVs, perform phlebotomies, and administer radionuclide doses

• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory protocols

• Participate in department meetings, training, and continuous learning

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all patient interactions

• Support daily operations including equipment maintenance and supply inventory

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB Certification

• Active California Nuclear Medicine License

• BLS and First Aid Certification

• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred (newer candidates may be considered)

• Ability to provide two current, verifiable professional references
