Job Description

A well established hospital located near Tucson, Arizona is seeking full-time, permanent Nuclear Medicine Technologists to join their team!

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description:

  • Full-time, direct hire opportunity
  • Mon-Fri schedule, day shift
  • On call may be required
  • Great radiology leadership and administration team!
  • Sign on bonus offered!
  • Performs nuclear medicine procedures inclusive of organ imaging and function studies; assists physician in therapeutic use of radioisotopes. Administers isotope dosage accurately following established department procedures; accurately records dosage administered; observes patient during procedure and reports any unusual occurrences to appropriate personnel.

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • One (1) year Nuclear Medicine experience preferred, but not required
  • Arizona Medical Radiologic Technologist certification (MRT) AND National Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N)
