Responsibilities of the Microbiology Medical Technologist:

• Abide by laboratory protocol and procedures.
• Provides information for patient diagnosis and treatment by performing laboratory tests in all assigned departments.
• Able to use various types of machinery, lab equipment, and complex computer programs to perform the test.

Requirements of the Microbiology Medical Technologist:

• 1+ years of experience to include plate reading in Microbiology. Generalist experience is a big plus.
• ASCP or AMT certification.
• Trained in an accredited MT program.
