We are working with a hospital in Southwest Virginia near Hillsville that is seeking a full-time permanent Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technicians to join their laboratory team. Interested candidates must hold ASCP certification or national equivalent. Experience is preferred, however, all experience levels are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities of the Medical Lab Technician / Medical Laboratory Technologist

• Abide by laboratory protocol and procedures
• Must be comfortable with the workload that comes with larger facilities
• Provides information for patient diagnosis and treatment by performing laboratory tests
• Able to use various types of machinery, lab equipment, and complex computer programs to perform tests

Requirements of the Medical Lab Technician / Medical Laboratory Technologist

• ASCP certification OR national equivalent
• Trained in an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program
• Clinical laboratory Generalist experience
