TITLE: Hematology Senior Tech Medical Technologist(55K+)

SUMMARY:
The Senior Technologist supervises technical and administrative procedures according to contemporary standards as described by regulatory and accrediting agencies.
The Senior Technologist provides guidance, counseling and influence regarding all aspects of the laboratory.
The Senior Technologist acts as the Laboratory Director in the absence of the Administrative Director and is responsible for the daily flow of work through the laboratory including laboratory staffing.
The Senior Technologist will assume responsibility for the LIS system, updating and maintenance of.
The Senior Technologist will oversee the POC activities and act as POC coordinator in the absence of the POC coordinator. He/She will offer guidance and influence decisions for POC.
The Senior Technologist will be responsible for the work schedule.
The Senior Technologist will be proficient in all laboratory departments.

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Baccalaureate degree in Medical Laboratory Science with Board Certification(ASCP)
Five(5) years of lab experience in Hematology preferred.

The position is a day shift and the hours are 6:30am-3pm.
The position will offer a range between $25.81hr-$32.26hr depending on experience and a full benefit package.
