Medical Technologist - Clinical Laboratory Scientist - (Med Tech - MT - CLS)
StartDate: 09/07/2021Available Shifts: 10 N Pay Rate: $1400.00 - 2000.00
FL licensed"Generalist" Medical Technologist with certs in Chem, Heme, Serology, and Blood Bank. 50-mile radius rule. We need a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science (BS CLS) or Medical Technology (BS MT). State of Florida TN license (for Medical Technologist) or higher with certifications in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, and Microbiology. Prefer 5-years documented laboratory experience minimum. Performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states. Follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing. Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. Requires a bachelor's degree and must be a certified medical technologist. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A limited degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager or supervisor.
