Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician Needed in Central Georgia
(One Hour and 15 Min from Atlanta)
*Full time and permanent position*
Generalist Medical Technologist, all shifts available!
Performs a variety of laboratory examinations and tests including specialized or experimental procedures assuring rapid and accurate results. Supervises lesser qualified employees of the section. Familiar with LIS.
What you will need:
High School or GED Diploma Graduate
Baccalaureate degree from accredited college or university to include minimum of 30 quarter hours of lecture science, including at least 15 quarter hours of chemistry, 10 quarter hours of biology and 5 quarter hours of math.
Registered as ASCP or equivalent
Registration as a Medical Technologist by the Board of Registry as ASCP, AMT, NCA or HHS. All newly hired technical staff must pass an approved certification exam within five (5) months of placement in this occupational classification.
