Medical Technologist needed -Blood Bank experience required
** 36 hours/week - night shift **
Join a hospital that is a part of a comprehensive healthcare system, which consists of one of the largest, most sophisticated, state-of-the-art laboratories in the Northeast. They started as the first licensed independent clinical laboratory in Maine. This network has over 15 facilities in Maine.
This role specifically is with one of their main laboratory and largest and busiest location as it is the state’s largest medical center as well with over 600 beds. The location is unbeatable, being along the coast of Maine you have access to all of the best things that New England has to offer whether it's the beaches, the endless number of picturesque small towns, and the food!
The ideal candidate will be ASCP certified (MT)(BB preferred but not required) and have at least one year of experience solely in the Blood Bank in a clinical laboratory. Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory, Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science is also required.
