Medical Technologist - Clinical Laboratory Scientist - (Med Tech - MT - CLS)
StartDate: 10/21/2019Available Shifts: 8 D/E/N Pay Rate: $1400.00 - 2000.00

MADISON, WISCONSIN. START DATE: 10/21/2019 for 13 weeks. SHIFT: Position 1: Monday- Friday, 7:45 am-4:15pm, Location: Part St Lab (Madison, WI). Position 2: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am -5:30 pm, Location: West Towne Lab (Madison, WI). Position 3: Day/Evening, 8 hr shift, varied, primarily day shift, may require some evenings, nights or weekends, to be determined based on department needs. Position 4: 40 hours/week, Day (9-5:30pm), with occasional Night shift preferred. REQUIRED SKILLS: 2 Med Techs with MICRO + PHLEBOTOMY FOCUS. Must be an experienced traveler! Traveler must have permanent address outside 75 mile radius of Madison - Traveler must have one successful travel assignment (13 weeks). Needs 2 references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only). Minimum Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology. - Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS). Master's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (MLS) or related science or healthcare field. Preferred Certification: (Medical Lab Science, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Banking, Molecular Biology) by the board of American Society of Clinical Pathologists or similar agency. Flexible, organized and able to prioritize work - Strong written and verbal communication - Strong attention to detail o strong analytical skills o strong troubleshooting and problem-solving - Strong computer and information systems - Knowledge of quality control, quality assurance principles and proficiency testing procedures - Ability to demonstrate strong independent judgement - Demonstrate the ability to work under stress in a variety of situations. - Knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC), College of American Pathologists (CAP) and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) regulations related to work area.

Med Tech, no MLT's.
