Medical Technologist - Clinical Laboratory Scientist - (Med Tech - MT - CLS)
StartDate: 07/08/2019Available Shifts: 8/10/12 D/E Pay Rate: $1400.00 - 2000.00
Steamboat Springs, Colorado. START DATE: 7/8/2019 for 13 weeks. SHIFT: Variable Shifts. Mix of days and evening shifts. Some weekend coverage will be required. 6:30a-3p; 7a-3:30p; 7:30a-8p; 9:30a-9:00p; 3p-11p. REQUIRED SKILLS: 14 week assignment. One year of Medical Lab Scientist experience. Bachelor's degree in related field and graduate of an accredited Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Scientist program. Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) by the American Medical Technologist (AMT) or as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)(MUST BE ACTIVE AND CURRENT). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare provider (AHA) required. Epic Beaker experience required. When first submitting candidates, include at least 3 references (1 from current manager), a resume, and a Skills checklist/Competency assessment. Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill the department needs. 40 hours a week, but hours will be guaranteed at 32 to comply with our down staffing policy. No overnights expected, but day shift, evening shift and potentially weekend shifts once trained and able to work independently. We are looking for a flexible traveler to meet our needs and cover our open shifts. Located 3 hours Northwest of Denver, Steamboat Springs is a unique small town, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. We work and play in the most beautiful setting in the world offering many recreational activities all year round. This includes skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, camping, fishing, hiking, golfing, mountain biking and much more. Steamboat is full of friendly people, some days you may think that everyone knows your name. Many come for a season, or one year and end up staying for the rest of their lives.
