Medical Technologist - Clinical Laboratory Scientist - (Med Tech - MT - CLS)
StartDate: 07/22/2019Available Shifts: 8/10/12 E Pay Rate: $1400.00 - 2000.00
CALDWELL, IDAHO. START DATE: 7/22/2019 for 8 weeks. SHIFT: Evenings. REQUIRED SKILLS: 2+ years of experience and 50 mile radius rule. 150 bed facility. Type of equipment: Siemens chemistry, hematology, and coag. Ortho blood bank. Documentation system: Meditech. Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Main lab – 2 techs for day shift, 2 evening shift and 1 night shift, 2 phlebotomists for day shift (also 2 at outpatient service center on campus), 1 for evening shift, and 1 for night shift. Must have:MeditechSiemens Vista 500 chemistryCentaur chemistrySiemens XN 2000 hematology with WAMClinitek Atlas UA with Siemens UF1000i urinalysisSiemens CA 2500 coagSiemens Rapidpoint 500 chemistryAlere-I microbiologyCepheid microbiologyFilmArray (BioFire) microbiologyCulture set upGram stainAdvanced skills needed:Troubleshooting analyzersCustomer service skillsTime management Procedures performed on unit: General lab dutiesLimited microbiology (culture set up, gram stains, rapid kits)Certifications Required:MLS or MLT – ASCP, AMT
