Medical Technologist - Clinical Laboratory Scientist - (Med Tech - MT - CLS)

#MT1 - Salinas, CA outpatient lab is seeking a CLS for a M-F day shift opportunity. QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum two years laboratory experience, preferably in clinic setting. Bachelor's Degree in a science related department.Graduated from State and Federal approved Medical Technology training program. Must have current California CLS License. Working knowledge of computer applications as they pertain to laboratory equipment. Phlebotomy experience.Must respond courteously, sympathetically and maturely to patient needs. Must be neat and professional in appearance. Detail oriented and well organized. Computer literate (i.e., be familiar with PC and basic software, such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, etc.) Must be able to work under pressure and in stressful situations and must be able to work quickly when business conditions warrant. Equipment:Sysmex CA-500 for Coagulation (PT/APTT)Sysmex XT-4000i for HematologyAlcor ISED to run ESRsTosoh G8 for A1CSiemens Centaur XP to run "Special Chemistry" (VitD, FOL, VB12, Prolactins, Estridols, T3, Testosterones, FSH, LH, Cortisol, iPTH, C-PEP) Siemens Dimension EXL with LM to run Chemistries Clinitex Status+ for Urinalysis Estimated tests and specimen levels:Daily tests is approximately 1800/day (in house, does not include send-out tests) Daily specimens is approximately 850/day (in house, does not include send-out tests)

Required Qualifications
