Job Description

Full-time Laboratory Technologist needed for the Q/C Reference Lab at a top facility in New York!
(Reference Code: KAM)

Job Summary:
Perform product/patient testing required to ensure components are distributed in a timely manner to the customer.
Responsible for hematology testing, bacterial detection, antigen negative inventory, and platelet cross-matching, as well as lab maintenance and the handling of other related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related science field
- NYS DOH License as a Clinical Lab Technologist; 2-3 years of laboratory experience; ASCP Certification preferred
- Ability to work alone and unsupervised; Knowledge and understanding of immunohematology, hematology and medical terminology

Schedule:
Sunday and Monday 7am to 3pm
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8am to 4 pm
