Job Description

Seeking a Full-Time Permanent Medical Technologist!

Details:

This position is for a 2nd or 3rd shift opportunity working in the Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology departments. The Med Tech will be responsible for performing moderate and high complexity testing. Analyze, review, and report test results and quality control results and take remedial action when indicated. Ensure specimen integrity by adhering to the laboratory's procedure for specimen handling and processing. Adhere to departmental polices and procedures to include departmental programs, quality control, quality assurance, and safety.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's in Medical Technology or related field
  • New York State Clinical Lab License
  • ASCP Certification preferred.
