Medical Technologist - Clinical Laboratory Scientist - (Med Tech - MT - CLS)
StartDate: 07/22/2019Pay Rate: $1400.00 - 2000.00
RAPID CITY, SOUTH DAKOTA. START DATE: 7/22/2019 for 13 weeks. SHIFT: Evening and overnight with every other weekend. REQUIRED SKILLS: Collects, prepares and performs a variety of laboratory tests, from routine to complex, which require independent judgment. Performs laboratory testing and reporting in a prompt, accurate, and reliable manner under the philosophy, policies, and procedures established by the facility and the department. Assists with department procedures, including quality assurance, proficiency testing, calibrations, and completes related laboratory duties. Identifies technical, instrumental, and physiologic causes of unexpected results and communicates with providers the necessary information to resolve inconsistencies. Troubleshoots analyzer and procedural problems and works towards resolution. Demonstrates a commitment to customer satisfaction, professionalism, and safety. ASCP with a MLT, MT or MLS is required.
