Seeking a Full-Time Permanent Medical Technologist to join a Chemistry Lab!

Job Details:

This hospital's Chemistry Lab is adding to their team! Seeking a full-time Medical Technologist to provide accurate and timely testing and results to requesting physicians and other health care professionals for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. The MT should consistently utilize excellent customer service skills to both internal and external customers at all time.

Responsibilities:

• Performance of procedures, evaluation and reporting of results as outlined in the manual of standard operating procedures.
• Notification of panic values to physicians.
• Participates in treating new employees, students, residents, etc.
• Rotating weekends as required
• Holiday scheduling as required
• On call availability as required for emergency coverage

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology or related field required
• MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) required

This hospital's laboratory is a licensed, full-service clinical and anatomical laboratory, managed by pathologists and technical staff. They provide comprehensive laboratory testing and consultative services to patients and community physicians including blood bank, clinical chemistry, coagulation, cytology, hematology, histology, phlebotomy and urinalysis.
