Currently seeking a Full-Time Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist!
This health systems laboratory provides physicians with concrete data to help determine a patient's diagnosis by testing personal specimens including blood and blood products, bodily fluids and tissue. Nearly 10,000 specimens are collected from the hospital each month, and around 6,500 are collected at the other locations. This lab achieves greater efficiency, prompt resulting and improved patient care. Their lab services include: Hematology, Coagulation, Urine, Chemistry, Transfusion Services, Microbiology, Histology, and Cytology.
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist has an understanding of the underlying scientific principles of laboratory testing as well as the technical, procedural and problem-solving aspects of pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical testing phases; is capable of performing and interpreting moderate and complex tests, and possesses the knowledge and skill to perform routing phlebotomy for patients of all age groups. Has general comprehension of many factors which affect health and disease and recognized proper test selection. Multiple shifts available!
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory science
- Valid Licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS/MT) or Specialist by the North Dakota Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice.
