Job Description
Full-time Medical Technologist position!
Full Time (37.5hrs/weekly) Day (7am-3pm or 8am-4pm) with weekend availability
The Medical Technologist is responsible for independently performing and reporting general and/or specialized laboratory tests in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures, and for providing technical services and laboratory support information to staff and providers. This person functions as the lead when the department supervisor is not available.
Required Experience:
- Minimal Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field, additional specialty training or course study acknowledged(required)
- ASCP registry or equivalent registry (preferred)
- 4-6 years of experience as a Medical Technologist(required)
- Must be competent in 4 laboratory sections as a generalist(preferred)
- Requires knowledge of principles and practices of laboratory science and minimal computer skills(required)
- May require an FBI check prior to beginning employment. The results of the aforementioned check must deem the individual Trustworthy and Reliable.
