(Archived) Medical Lab Tech for Temporary Coverage in Southern Utah | 3x12hr Shift Schedule

Job Description

This hospital is needing temporary coverage for 2 medical leave needs, which is why they need 6 months, or longer for temporary coverage. This southern city of Utah is a gateway to massive red rock formations in Arches National Park, not far from Grand Canyon, or Southwest, Canyonlands National Park features mesas and buttes carved by the Green and Colorado rivers, plus Native American rock art. Dinosaur tracks can be found at sites like Bull Canyon Overlook and Copper Ridge. Some of the equipment they have in there lab includes, but not limited to: - Phlebotomy is required, must be able and willing - Areterial and Venous - Bio-Rad QC Solutions and Systems - LIS System: HealthLand/CPSI, now Evident (Centriq) - classic version - Chemistry analyzer(s): Siemens Dimension EXL - Blood Gas: Rapid Point 500 - Hematology: Sysmex 550 (NEW), 350 (Backup) - Coagulation: Sysmex CA 1500 - Urinalysis: Clinitek Status - Microbiology: Microscan (smaller analyzer, not the walkaway) - BDFX 40 used for blood a culture analyzer For more information about this opportunity, please contact your CompHealth recruiter today!   • Starting Mid-June (11th or 18th)
  • Covering 2 medical leave needs, working alone
  • One of the medical leave coverages is for a 6a-6p Friday-Sunday
  • Other medical leave is 6p-6a Friday-Sunday, both may change to a Monday-Friday, pending with HR
  • Phlebotomy is required, someone able and willing
  • Generalist Needed
  • Low-Moderate Work Volume
  • ASCP or AMT, MT or MLT are acceptable
