Job Description
Full-Time Medical Technologist needed at a 25 bed hospital in beautiful Northern New Hampshire
MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST/MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN - LABORATORY DEPARTMENT
Full-Time (40 hours per week); Rotating Shifts/Weekends/Holidays.
Primary responsibilities involve the testing of body fluids and other specimen samples submitted to the Laboratory for analysis.
Qualifications:
*Medical Technologist: Bachelor of Science degree that meets the academic requirements of the Board of Registry of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or fulfills the academic and experience components specified by recognized accrediting agencies and is certified or must be certified within one year of hire by either AMT, ISCLT, HHS, or NCA in the Laboratory Technologist category.
*Medical Laboratory Technician: Associate’s degree that meets the academic requirements of the Board of Registry of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or fulfills the academic and experience components specified by recognized accrediting agencies and is certified or must be certified by either AMT, HHS, or NCA in the Laboratory Technician category.
Basic computer literacy and experience with laboratory information systems is preferred.
