Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Lead Medical Technologist to join a healthcare team in Bradenton, Florida!
Full-Time | Permanent | Mixed Shifts (7–10 Hours)
Requirements
-
Associate Degree in Science required; Bachelor's preferred
-
Active Florida Medical Technologist License
-
3–5+ years of clinical laboratory experience
-
Experience in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology
-
Experience across multiple laboratory departments
-
Strong technical, communication, and leadership skills
Responsibilities & Highlights
-
Perform routine and STAT laboratory testing
-
Serve as the primary laboratory contact for the trauma team during assigned shifts
-
Maintain quality control, safety, and regulatory compliance
-
Assist with specimen processing and laboratory operations
-
Collaborate with laboratory leadership and clinical staff
-
Work in an established acute care hospital near Florida's Gulf Coast
