A healthcare facility in beautiful Southeast Alaska is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a full-time, permanent opportunity!

Position Details:

• Location: Southeast Alaska

• Type: Full-time, permanent

• Shift: Days, with potential night and weekend call requirements

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 for qualified hires

• Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 for qualified hires

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and high-complexity clinical laboratory testing

• Work across laboratory specialties, including microbiology and transfusion medicine

• Analyze and interpret results while maintaining quality standards

• Maintain laboratory equipment and support regulatory compliance

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate patient results

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field (qualifying experience or training may be considered)

• ASCP, AMT, or equivalent national certification

• At least 1 year of clinical laboratory experience or qualifying hospital internship

• Knowledge of laboratory testing, quality control, and laboratory information systems

• Ability to work independently in a hospital laboratory setting
