Job Description
A healthcare organization in Southwest Florida is looking for a Medical Technologist for a full-time day shift position with rotating weekends.
Position Highlights
- Full-time, day shift with rotating weekends
- Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing
- Complete STAT testing within established turnaround times
- Review and interpret patient results, including delta checks
- Perform quality control procedures and address critical or problem specimens
- Maintain required records and documentation for patient results
What We’re Looking For
- Associate degree required
- Florida Technologist License required or ability to obtain the license during the interview process
- Licensure in one or more clinical specialty areas
- Generalist licensure highly preferred
- Specialty areas may include Blood Bank, Serology, Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology
- Previous Medical Technologist experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology
- At least 1 year of Medical Technologist experience
- Generalist background
