Job Description
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for an experienced Medical Technologist to join a hospital-based laboratory supporting critical stat and routine testing during overnight hours. This role offers long-term stability, professional autonomy, and the chance to work across core laboratory disciplines in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Shift Details
Full-time
Night shift: 6:30pm–7:00am
Shift differentials offered for nights and/or weekends.
On-call responsibilities may be required.

Your Role

Perform stat and routine clinical laboratory testing using independent judgment

Analyze proficiency testing samples and complete testing within required timeframes

Perform and document quality control procedures and corrective actions as needed

Correlate, interpret, and validate patient results, including delta checks

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation

Review pending and result logs to ensure timely workload completion

Assist with inventory monitoring and regulatory compliance requirements

Handle critical and problem specimens according to established protocols

Support departmental goals related to service, quality, and patient satisfaction
