Your Role

• Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing in accordance with established protocols

• Complete and maintain required documentation related to patient results

• Perform STAT testing within defined turnaround time goals

• Review logs and pending worklists to ensure workload completion and continuity of care

• Perform quality control procedures and address critical or problem specimens appropriately

• Apply independent judgment when correlating, interpreting, and validating patient results

• Assume departmental responsibilities in the absence of supervisory staff as needed
