Lead Medical Technologist – Acute Care Hospital
Full-Time | Mixed Shifts (7–10 hrs)
Join a well-established acute care hospital on Florida’s Gulf Coast known for high-quality care and advanced laboratory services. This Lead role provides technical expertise and shift leadership while serving as the primary lab contact during evening or night shifts.
Key Responsibilities

Perform stat and routine testing in licensed lab areas

Ensure compliance with procedures and regulatory standards

Maintain competency in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology
-
Serve as lab point of contact for trauma cases on assigned shifts

Support quality, compliance, and department goals
Requirements
-
Florida Medical Technologist License
-
Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred
-
3–5 years of hospital lab experience
-
Experience across multiple lab sections (Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology)
-
Comfortable working independently and providing lead support
